What is YeboBox?

Yebobox is a proudly African curated subscription box experience that brings Southern Africa’s most loved and tastiest brands to your doorstep.

What is inside the Box?

Each mini box includes a minimum of 6 delicious and hard-to-come-by African products. We deliver you a range of delicious, quality treat selections from much-loved brands

 

Each classic box includes a minimum of 11 delicious and hard-to-come-by African products. We deliver you a range of delicious, quality treat selections from much-loved brands.

 

Gift messaging is included in the first box of any gift subscription and can be entered during the checkout process.

 

Will you tell me the items coming in my box ahead of time? Can I choose?

 

We love surprises, and the contents of each box are a surprise! The magic of the experience is receiving all your favorite most loved brands that you grew up with. We will pick the most favorite ones based on feedback and supply different products each month.

Can I purchase past boxes?

Thank you for being interested in one of our past boxes! Unfortunately, due to limited inventory, we are currently unable to sell past boxes.

Can I send a box to someone as a gift?

Yes, of course, that is the beauty of Yebobox you can send it to family or friends living far away that may need some home comforts and something familiar or as a month treat for them to look forward and enjoy.. To send someone a Gift Box or to gift a subscription, simply enter your recipient's shipping address during checkout instead of your own.

Can I add a personalised gift note?

Absolutely! During the check out process you will be given the option to add a personalised gift note which we will include in your box.

Are the snacks Gluten or Allergen-free?

While the contents of each box vary, some products we offer within each box contain gluten.

As we provide products from multiple suppliers there is the potential for allergens to be present- we do take this very seriously but sadly cannot remove this risk entirely. Please refer to the individual product packaging for details of allergens within specific products.

Where do the snacks come from?

All snacks are sourced from suppliers and brands based in Southern Africa and are shipped to the United Kingdom.

What is the difference between the three different subscription boxes?

Can I purchase just one box?

Sure thing! If you would like just one box, check out our Gift options, where you can purchase an individual box without subscribing.

My YeboBox arrived damaged!

Oh, no negative bru that is definitely not what we want to hear. If your item is at all damaged (melted, defective, etc), we ask that you please take a photo immediately and email the YeboBox teams at hello@yebobox.com where we can assist you further. 

What if my Box doesn’t arrive?

Courier tracking information will be provided and available for your order in your account area. Please contact the courier in the first instance in the event of any issues. If the courier is unable to resolve your issue please email hello@yebobox.com including your order number in the email so we can assist. 

When will my box arrive every month?

We ship monthly on the 15th of the month. Orders within the UK should arrive within 5 working days. Our cut-off for orders is the 12th of each month. If you place your order after the 12th of the current month your first box will be shipped on the 15th of the next month.

When will the subscription amount be debited from my account?

Your first order will be billed immediately. The first shipment date will be dependent on when you place your first order. If you order before the 12th of the month cut-off you will receive the current month's box, if you order after the 12th, you will receive the next month's box as your first shipment.

Example

Re-billing date: 1st of each month

Cut-off date: 12th of each month

Shipping date: 15th of each month

Sign up before our shipping cut-off, the 12th. We will ship your first box on the 15th of the current month and are re-billed on the first of the following month, and the first of each month going forward.

Sign up after the shipping cut-off, the 12th. We will ship your box on the 15th of the following month and you will be re-billed on the 1st of the month after that.

This is to stop you, our customers, being billed twice before receiving your first box.

How much does Yebobox cost?

The latest prices for our boxes are displayed on our website, https://yebobox.com. There are discounted rates available for prepaying for your subscription which are greater the longer you initially subscribe for.

When will my subscription be billed?

Your first payment will be billed when you sign up. Thereafter your subscription will be debited on the 1st of each month starting from the 1st of the month after you receive your first box. If you choose to pay yearly for a discount your first years subscription will be billed when you checkout.  Your subscription for the following year will renew and you will be charged for another year on the 1st of the month after you receive your final box unless you cancel your subscription.

What is the refund policy?

If an item arrives faulty or defective please contact us and we will gladly replace it for you.

We require that subscriptions be deactivated prior to the renewal date if you do not wish to be charged for future boxes.

If your order has been delayed and hasn't arrived from within 4 weeks from the ship date, please reach out to hello@yebobox.cm. Missing or lost orders must be reported within 30 days from the shipping confirmation date to be eligible for reimbursement.

Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us. If you encounter any issues, please do not hesitate to contact us at  hello@yebobox.com for assistance.

Can Yebobox be billed in any currency or only British Pounds?

Yes- we use Stripe for our payment processing which accepts various currencies.

What payment options do I have?

You can pay using Visa, MasterCard, American Express or any other type of credit/debit card accepted by Stripe, our payment processor.

How do I change my shipping address for my subscription?

To update your default shipping address for your subscription:

How do I deactivate my subscription?

We're sorry to see you go! To cancel your subscription - access "My Account" and select "My Subscriptions". Any active Subscriptions will be listed here, click Cancel and follow the steps given.

How do I update my billing information?

You can do this by logging into your Account and navigating to the billing tab. If you need help with this, please email support@yebobox.com and we will be happy to assist you.

Why was my subscription renewed?

Yebobox is a subscription service that automatically renews at the end of each cycle. We do this to ensure all members of our pack don’t miss a single box. If you have any issues please email hello@yebobox.com and we will be happy to help.

What is your subscription cancellation policy?

We will be sad to see you go, but you can cancel your subscription at any time.

To cancel your subscription - access "My Account" and select "My Subscriptions".

Any active Subscriptions will be listed here, click Cancel and follow the steps given.

My box/order has shipped. When will it arrive?

It takes up to 5 working days for the box to arrive within the UK and between 10 – 15 days for international customers. Please note delivery times may be longer than usual due to the COVID-19 impact on international shipping.

What is the cut-off date to order a box?

The cut-off date for the current month's box is 11:59pm GMT on the 12th of the current month. However, in certain months, we may sell out early. In those cases, the product description will state that orders will be for the next month's box.

Will my box arrive by a specific date?

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that your box or order will arrive by a certain date because our boxes ship directly from England and international shipping can be unpredictable. If your shipment has not arrived after 6 weeks from the start of the month it was shipped, please feel free to contact us at hello@yebobox.com and we will do our best to help

How do I order boxes to ship to different addresses?

Thank you for wanting to share the YeboBox love with your friends and family! 

Because we need a unique shipping address attached to each subscription or gift order, it is currently not possible to order multiple boxes going to different addresses in the same order. Please place a new order for each box that is going to a different address.

Can I get a free box to review?

We are happy to work with influencers like you to spread the love about Yebobox!! If you are interested in receiving a free box to review, please include the following information in your email to hello@yebobox.com

1. Full Name

2. All your social media handles 

3. Links to any relevant past reviews you have done of other boxes

4. Any other information you think would be helpful in our decision making

Due to our limited resources, we only accept reviewers that we feel are a good fit for us. However, if you would still like to purchase a box and do a review, feel free to send us the completed review so we can share it via our channels!
